Moved this thread into the new Projects sub-forum and also two more screens because it's still not dead. (This project still count as fan-fiction?) Steve's scenario is still main focus until it's finished. (P.S. I promise I'll get rid of the placeholder faces eventually ;~; )

Hey, guess what?
Plotline-wise at least, Steve's Chapter is now complete.
I say plotline-wise since there are still other things to do. I still need to go through and make/add unadded features that need to be in it as well as maybe revising a few scenes and dialogue.
But hey, after I'm done with that, I'll get to working on Bern's chapter next.

I am doing an update on the thing everyone is upset exists but is still here anyways. I'm doing Bern's chapter now. and stuff. HAVE I MENTIONED THE FACESETS ARE TEMPORARY (I HOPE)? I DON'T THINK I'VE SAID THAT ENOUGH TIMES CUZ IM DUMB. Also, something I'm concerned about. 621 maps. Most completed RPGmaker games I've played did not have this much. And this is only Steve's chapter. Can you imagine once Bern and Glack's are completed? And hell, if Mike's gets completed as well? That's a lot of maps. It's scary. Hopefully there's no map limit or anything like that. I seriously hope not.

On another note, here's one of the things I was finally adding to Steve's chapter. It's cooking. The ingredients are most likely not going to make sense, because I don't know cooking. And that's a shame.

Have I ever mentioned my annoying tendency to put time into things you'll only see once in the game, and even then they still don't come out looking good? The sign and ferret statue sprited from scratch, and it definitely shows...

Oh wow another update in just 8 days. I got a new video for all of you. and a screen for you too You get to make pizzas.... and it's pretty much just a clone of the cooking system but with a couple tweaks. By the way, I've noticed that when recording through OBS (and recording sound through stereo mix) and listening to it, the audio always sounds kind of "canned" and unbalanced. Anyone know what I can do about that?

Okay another update.
The main plotline of Bern's scenario is now complete...
and once again, I still have some tweaking and stuff to do before I can say it's fully "complete."
but anyways, got the final boss of the scenario done and blah blah blah
I'm concerned about the length; it's actually shorter and a bit more lackluster compared to Steve's, though one could probably argue that Steve's scenario wound up running longer than it should have (it was the first one I worked on after all).
But regardless, I'll probably add in a few extra events and maps for the sake of tying up loose ends (okay not really the proper term but something like that)
I'll announce when I'm done with the tweaking and getting started on Glack's scenario, before I can finally finish the first fucking half (a very very rough estimate) of the game and make a playable demo to send to a few people for testing before I finally get to work on the last scenario.

So, went through and played through Bern's scenario, fixed a few bugs here and there, everything SEEMS alright for now...
which means it's time to get started on Glack's scenario FINALLY JESUS FUCK.
First things first, I'll have to finish some database stuff, I regret to say that there a few things that I had completed beforehand for Bern and Steve's scenarios but I just kinda left Glack's unfinished. I'll have to get to that.
Blah blah blah some more stuff and then I get to work on it (oh my god Bern's scenario took me about 6 months to finish why)
OH FUCK WELL I SURE DO HOPE FINISHING GLACK'S DOESN'T TAKE TOO LONG! THAT'LL SURE BE A NIGHTMARE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
OH MY GOD AM I EVER GOING TO FINISH THIS DAMN THING IT'S LIKE SELF-INFLICTED TORTURE AT THIS POINT
not really, I'm still determined to finish it.
but yeah anyways, Glack's scenario is soon underway, and as soon as I finish that, the private demo will be sent to a few select people.
so uh, don't wait for it, because it'll probably take forever.

To the fans eagerly awaiting the release of Crashocalypse, unfortunately I have an announcement that will be very disappointing to all of you. In preparation for the November 3044 release of Crashocalypse we have been working hard with our partners to resolve any (insert rpgmaker shit here) issues necessary to publish Crashocalypse on these forums. However, the issues relating to (whatever) were more critical than expected and it has been apparent that we will have to delay the game from its November 18, 3044 release date. We have been working up until the very last moment to resolve these issues in order to make the November 18, 3044 release, but it has become clear that we no longer have enough time to fix the issues and have everything prepared for release. For this first delay of the game, we have no excuses for disappointing our fans and our especially bank accounts once more. We want to take this chance to express our sincerest apologies to everyone who has looked forward to the release. Although we are far past our original release date, the release of Crashocalypse is still only about a thousand years away. We are all working hard to make sure that we can finish and release the game to all of our fans as quickly as possible, and ask once more for your support of this project that we have created together over these last few years. (But we already have your money anyway, suckers.)And by that I mean I have a couple more screens in case you were missing updates and thought the project was dead. (Holy shit how did this thing take so long? It's been 2 years already and it's still not close to being finished) Got three shots of Glack's new church (since you know his first one got destroyed in the intro for his scenario.) So I believe I might be done with Glack's main plotline.
If that's the case, I just need to add some of the other stuff that needs to be added, playtest to check things are working right and then...
it'll be complete.
The first half (by half I mean like maybe 60 or 65 or 70 % of the game) is complete.
and it would have only taken about 2 years
