Watched a couple movies recently that I think are good enough to recommend. The Sunset Limited - Two men talking in a single room for an hour and a half. 8/10 Birdman - SCREECH!!! 7/10 Edit: Just got done watching The Man From Earth and I thought it was a pretty engaging watch. Just like Sunset, it is a purely dialogue driven film all taking place in basically one location. I'd give this a good 14,000/10.

I Grabbed some screencaps of a certain film. I reccomend you enjoy these to the sounds of yukkuri screaming. Don't laugh at his anguish. Bad touch incoming Can this be some kind of emote?

Picked up pops from the airport a few hours ago. He went on a long awaited hunting trip out in the middle of nowhere in Alaska for two weeks. Took a bunch of Photos with his little 60$ camera he bought the day before leaving (He was originally not going to take any photos). I thought these two were the best of the bunch. I did increase the saturation a little bit in Gimp just because I felt like the originals looked too gray.

Found my old Pokemon card collection stashed away in one of the back rooms. This was kinda a spur of the moment thing. Anyways, I designed it to be printed out and used as an insert for a binder.

Been reading Blindlight by Peter Watts. If you like the idea of a hard scifi book with Space/Aliens/Vampires/Cybernetics in it. Give this a shot. Edit: Well, I finished it, and it was pretty awesome. I thought that the idea of a non sentient alien super intelligence was an interesting concept (Interesting enough to keep me reading for hours a day). I also never thought that vampires in space could be so fascinating. Oh, and Sarasti was awesome.

Just finished Watching Nightcrawler starring Jake Gyllenhaal. There are two ways you could go about watching this movie. 1. You could take all the subject matter seriously and feel utterly disgusted by the sheer inhumanity of the protagonist and walk away with a bad taste in your mouth. Or 2. Realize that this is a hilarious dark comedy following the daily meanderings of a very socially awkward sociopath. If you liked American Psycho, give this a shot.

Watched Tarantino's The Hateful Eight. What a great flick. It has absolutely superb atmosphere and very well written dialogue. Typical of Tarantino. WATCH IT!

The Babadook is a movie about a crazy ass bitch and how terrible of a mother she is. The entire premise of this film hinges on the viewer being able to empathize with this woman, but I couldn't fucking do it. If you want to see a mental breakdown. Watch it. Otherwise, don't waste your time.

Overall the museum was pretty awesome. It was something that I've been wanting to do since I was a child, so scratching this off my list felt pretty good. Driving there took about 5 hours or so, but shit got real when I actually got into Manhattan. People on bicycles just weave in and out of traffic, and people seem to honk their horns just for the fuck of it. Almost all the pedestrians I saw were glued to their smartphones whilst simultaneously walking into oncoming traffic like it was no big deal. Cars were cutting each other off like crazy. Overall, it was pretty intense. Anyway here are a few of my favorite pictures. This is the first thing you see as you enter through the front. Finally got to see a T-Rex skeleton up close! Can't have a T-Rex without a Triceratops selsselsselsselsselsselsselsselsselsselsselsselsselsselsselsselssels rwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwrrwr A lot of my other images are fucked. This camera can't take pictures in dim lighting without them looking like a blurry mess. It took about 10 tries to get that Elephant Seal to look decent.... Anyway, my legs hurt and I must slep.

Just finished watching Ex Machina. I must really have a soft spot for films that are set in one location, with very few characters, and lots of dialogue. Because this movie kept me pretty damn entertained. Edit: Watched Moon last night. All I can say is Gerty > Hal 9000.
